I pretty much agree. But I think you can achieve classic tone without a ton of fuss and concentrate on your playing.

A Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue with a Vox Valve-Tone V810 OD pedal pretty much gets you there. Oh, and don't forget a good Strat. ;)
