How much?

Can I buy a set to fret my next neck with? I'm ready to give it a go, if only for the sake of novelty. They're pretty. Though I want some matching dot markers. And a nut.

Cheers - C

im not sure how the prices break down ceri.
a buddy sent me a link and pics from the namm show about this
company. he had good reports about the frets but the question is the long haul.
he says its told that they never wear out. i could see these on a custom les paul, black with all the chrome hardware and these frets. wow. lol

Sounds cool. As they said though every job is custom, I guess you can't use a fretting mallet with those since they're quartz and would probably break. Therefore as someone else said, expensive. Perhaps the makes of expensive guitars, ala Fender Custom Shop could have a lot of fun with those design-wise ^^

Edit: Well on the hardness scale quartz is a 7, so I believe nickel and steel are both softer than that so the strings wouldn't scratch the quartz. Forever is a pretty lofty claim though since they just came out >____>

How the hell do they know the things never wear out? And lets see some proof about the apparent tonal benefits too. Real proof, not written opinion of someone on the payroll.

Gimmick.

I'm on the list for a custom refret on one of my guitars with that product.

Should be cool.

Ahh. Could it be Ceri might be thinking of Maple neck, red dot markers, AND red frets?

I like 'em. I think they'd look pretty sweet next to some oversized abalone dots. That claim that they never wear out is worth a second look in itself, and would be a big factor in their popularity. Only time will tell.
