What is your Favorite CD of a Strat Player?

Hendrix, Clapton, and SRV are not eligible for this.

I would have to go with Essential Tommy Castro by Tommy Castro.

'keep it like a secret' by built to spill.
doug martsch does really interesting stuff with a strat. it's very unique, but not arty or pretentious. just fun, enjoyable music with awesome guitar playing.

blood.sugar.sex.magik. by the red hot chili peppers is a good cd.. i'm pretty sure john recorded most of the stuff with a strat.... most audioslave and rage against the machine reocrdings where morello uses his "soul power" guitar are pretty good as well

check out the 3 part morello lesson on youtube as well, pretty interesting stuff

stadium arcadium is a great cd as well... i don't see why people don't like it as much as previous RHCP... i think its a bit away from their roots, but still the great, funky soongs you're used to from them

desecration smile and wet sand are both brilliant....also slow cheetah and hump de bump are good as well, as is the whole album i guess.... turn it again may be one of my favorite outros ever

The new John Mayer cd, Continuum- was never a fan of his till now, but there is some gorgeous playing on this cd, slow and clear, like in the song "Gravity", and some truly impressive stuff on his cover of "Bold as Love"

and Stevie Ray Vaughn- Couldn't Stand The Weather is probably one of my favorite cd's of all time, along with Stevie Wonder- Songs in the Key of Life, but he's not a guitar player.

Well I was going to come on here and post Stadium Arcadium...oh well...I guess I'll still go with it. Sadly I don't always know what guitar all my favorite bands are playing.

Check out your bands online. Google them and you'll be surprised that you'll get a hit with what instruments your favorite bands play, or even endorse. Have fun!
