Whilst I can appreciate the effort he has probably put into getting his picking up to that speed, and I do quite enjoy some shred guitar, I would much rather hear one note that means everything, than a million notes that mean nothing.

And the left hand was doing what exactly :?:
Before viewing the vid, I was expecting someone to triple Malmsteen or Albert Lee or Oscar Lopez...Steve Vai...John Mclaughlin...Al Dimeola... or even Les Paul :?
That was so ridiculously unmusical, as an exercise in right hand coordination fine but as a segment of musical notes.

By the way will someone explain to me/us the pursuit of speed at the exclusion of everything else which determines a musical statement :?: :?: ( Barn Door Flung wide Open )

I couldn't see hardly any fretting finger movement, most of the speed seemed to be coming from his picking hand.I'd rather listen to one sweet bluesy moan from Albert King's or Jimi Hendrix's guitar than 12 hours of shredding twits.

i didn't even hear music. All I heard was noise. It was like watching Yngwie Malmsteen's retarded brother
