$500 to spend!!!!

So I finished 2nd in my fantasy football pool this season and as of today, I have $530 in prize money to spend...the problem is usually I have money burn a hole in my pocket and have it spent before I have it. That being said, I don't know what to spend it on...suggestions(musical or otherwise)?

I'd say save it. Don't spend it. With the economy the way it is now $500 is nice to have when you need it.

Or if you do buy a guitar or gear, decide what the one item you really want is and save the $500 until you have the remainder of the money to purchase that item.

While this makes a great deal of sense...it is seriously lacking in the fun department.

true but needing that $500 and not having it at your disposal is less fun. as is selling a guitar in order to come up with the $500 you spent. i'm just thinking ahead is all. if there is something you HAVE to have, then by all means go for it...otherwise save it. IMO.

Take $100 and put it aside for SuperBowl squares pools (you know you'll play!)

The other $400, watch the Musician's Friend STOTD and use wisely as an investment. :wink:

I'd hang on to it until I saw something that I absolutely had to have.If you just spend the bucks on something you're only marginally interested in you may kick yourself when something you must have shows up down the road.Of course one of the new Red Limited Edition Blues Jrs. with the Vintage 30 would sound real nice.
