Couple shots from tonight's Fender employee party at the Doubletree hosted by a fantastic band made up of Fender employees from our Corona manufacturing facility:

It's a dirty job but someone has to do it. Right Brad? Looks like you guys are having a great time over there. Have you had the opportunity to browse the booths or have you been too busy working?

In celebration of "NAMM Week," let's go ahead and make things a little more interesting by offering up one $250 shopping spree on our Online Store to one lucky winner. You'll be able to purchase whatever you want including our newest arrivals such as these fine items:

Strat® Headstock T-Shirt
Image

Fender Fine Electric Mug

Fender® Ladies "Strat Neck" T-Shirt

In order to be eligible to win, you simply need to submit a post -- any post -- to these forums at any time on Friday, Saturday or Sunday (Pacific time). Since I'll be handling the prize fulfillment personally I'll go ahead and open this opportunity up to the globe -- anyone can win! *

I'm not going to post a giant announcement about this as I've found in the past that that simply encourages folks to submit "garbage" posts rather than encourage natural discussion. Rather, this time around those who have bothered to read this far into this thread will know what's goin' on and those who haven't won't -- simple enough, eh? :-)

* The statement that "anyone can win" is obviously a slight exaggeration and the standard legal disclaimers apply here -- for example, the giveaway is obviously not open to Fender employees and those of insufficient age and the like.

That's the one unfortunate thing of this gig -- I truthfully don't typically get to spend a heck of a lot of time in the booth itself actually studying and documenting gear and whatnot. Sunday is typically a good day for this, though, as the show will be winding down then -- I'll see if I can shoot a bunch of products on that day!

Consider this to be my official submission. (it's been Friday for almost an hour now). Unless of course it needs to be a new topic, then I'll be sure to find something interesting to post. I could always go for some new Fender Swag.

Nope, no need to start a new topic -- this is fine and qualifies!

Brad

Please exclude me from the competition.
Not that I don't want to participate, but I won such a fantastic prize last year, it's hardly fair that I be entered again. I know it's a real long shot. But should some Twighlight Zone thing happen and I get pulled out the hat again, I would have to decline.

The Malibu is doing fine and well, and currently only 10ft from me, which is about as far away as it gets from me at home. Really love the thing.

Anyway on a more fun note. A online magazine that I get newsletters from (because I can't find where to un-subscribe) featured a article about Fender CustomShop at NAMM and plenty of other good stuff. Here's the link.
