I just looked through the pictures posted on Facebook of the Fender booth at the NAMM show. I see a Tele I really like!

Cool, hope you can find some time to check out the new guitars on our behalf! I too would love to go to NAMM one year, but not only am I just a bedroom player, I'm on the wrong side of the pond :( ah well I shall not give up hope!

Miami Mike + Bill948 where is the blog? I mean is it on here or somewhere else?

Cheers,
Drew :)

Quite the eventful day today -- at this point all of our product launches for the foreseeable future are "out of the bag" so to speak, and tomorrow marks the official opening of the show. To keep on top of it all make sure you hope over and keep an eye on our 2011 Product Showcase -- and also make sure you "like" Fender on Facebook and that you follow us on Twitter as well!

We held a special by-invite-only dealer event this evening which was focused primarily around the launch of the Gretsch® G6128T-GH George Harrison Custom Shop Tribute Duo Jet™ Guitar. That model name is a bit of a mouthful but it's a very monumental project for Gretsch® to be sure -- a precise replica of the instrument made famous by George Harrison. George's son, Dhani, (also quite an accomplished musician in his own right) was on hand this evening as well to join in the celebration.

Here are a few photos from today and this evening; since standard photos of "trade show happenings" will be featured by the thousands both here on Fender.com and at numerous other sites within the next few days I figured I'd focus my own postings here more on the aspects of the show that one rarely sees -- i.e., the behind the scenes type stuff such as the IT support room that's located literally right next to our green room each year.

Yikes, 1:00 a.m. once again. More to come! But ... time to call it a night but I'll post more photos soon! Still tracking down some swag to give away here as well. :-)

Brad – Thanks for the NAMM updates. Having worked a number of trade shows (computer industry) I can understand the long hours and hard work you must be putting in. And then to take the time to keep us up to date – that goes beyond the call of duty. Two thumbs up (more if I had 'em)!

Guys:

A few more photos for ya! Here are some shots from last night's Fender Dealer Event at our booth. Highlight of the show was Eric Johnson and Nils Lofgren meeting (for the first time, evidently) and then sitting down for impromptu acoustic jam.

Awesome photos, Brad!

Nils Lofgren has been a big inspiration for me as a songwriter.

Keep 'em coming when you get time. :D

A few more pics from today's happenings -- we had another visit from Eric Johnson, Yngwie Malmsteen stopped by, and we had active product demos going on all day in the booth.

Brad,
Thanks for the guided tour, at least we get to be there in spirit. Just remember "all work and no play makes a musician rusty"

Cheers,
