No, they don't work like that. You may get a little more preamp gain, but thats about it.

So you didn't try it out then?

most of my stuff i dont talk about via forums.
most of the stuff i get i buy low and bundle it and resale
the bundle. nevin every so often kicks me in the balls
to do a story on one of my guitars. lol i might do it one day.
its a very rare piece indeed.

we just went through a major ice storm.
there is about 3 inches of ice on the roads right now.
this guy lives up in the mountains and said he hasnt left the house period in
3 days and looks like hes gonna be in for several more days.
gives me some research time. im off to go look at a sweet guitar at an
unbelievable price. so the down time will give me time to let my money get
back up again.

Way Cool the OCD should do what it does in front of any good tube amp. I've been watching for one of those on Craig's list...

oh they are all so sweet bro. the ONLY pedal out there that gets my nod over a OCD is the new wampler paisley drive. it is smokin hot bro.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4diQzCr8 ... re=related
the down side to the demo of the ocd is andy never uses the tone knob which
has a major effect on the OCD's tone.

ya cant go wrong with either of these.

The Wampler is nice but a tad expensive for what it does. I'll stick with the OCD. I guess Brad's name on a pedal adds $$$. It does sound good on the demo though.
