Have done any wiring mods? What were/are they?

I had Bill Lawrence L-250's (single coil sized humbuckers) in all 3 postions on a MIM Strat. I used 2 push/pull controls. One was for coil splitting and the other for adding the bridge pup at any time. The guitar had about 14 different pup combinations.

I have also added a small toggle switch to activate the bridge pup whenever I wanted.

I didn't Lose my mind, I traded it for this guitar.

I made the mistake of re-doing the entire electronics of a 335 clone. Took me about 2 months to get it right. Don't think I will ever try that again. I installed a 5 way switch in my custom shop strat. Also a few pickup changes here and there. I have thoughts about S1 capabilities on my American Strat. It would be much easier if Fender would sell the S1 aftermarket.

Wired my Squire Strats so one of the tone pots controls the bridge pickup. After doing the first one, it became a must mod for me.

Two of my Squier Strats have an on/off mini switch to turn the neck pickup on and off when I want. Great mod and the on/off switch is dirt cheap at Radio Shack.

Don't know if it's a wiring mod, but I put copper foil in both my standard strats.

I like the bullet holes on that Squire, looks like my cousin took it to Iraq on tour!
