Sad news for the Army and world...MAJ Dick Winters(Band of brothers fame) passed away on 2Jan11. His family announced this early this morning. All the guys here at FT Benning feel as if we have been kicked in the stomach. He was a friend to the world! RIP Easy 6

Learned about him from Band of Brothers movie. A truly great and inspirational American....a great loss for all...
