Sorry to hear about the arthritis! It's good you've got an idea now though so that you can play the preventative game rather than keep upping your pain management dose. I was diagnosed with "developing arthritis" back when I was about 19 or 20 and put on nightly muscle relaxants to help me sleep  Those were some interesting times for sure.

Someone told me a few years ago, that as soon as you're 50 years old, when you wake up in the morning and you don't feel pain, anywhere in your body, that's because you're dead. :? Sorry to hear about that Alan, but don't take it too bad, it is still a beautifull life. :D

Get down Holland and Barret, get on the Glucosamine/Chrondrotin, 800mg.

Expensive stuff but works. Sorted the elbow on my trowel arm out. Just take it for a couple of weeks every September till the end of January now. Helps promote the growth of the soft tissue and fluid sacks your joints are lacking. See your doc', especialy if you have blood pressure issues.

Bad buisiness on site in this land mate. I've been looking at Athlete's Village for work. The rates are down 50%. Aint going to the expensive smoke for half money. Let the sausage roll's build the stadium.

100% behind you on that RVM. I've never been a fan of the live fast die young mindset. I plan on being here for the longhaul.

Sorry to hear about the diagnoses Alan. Could be worse...
Now that you know you can look at managing it.

Pretty much had that attitude for the last 3 years. Let the governemt pay for my upkeep along with all the asylum seekers. It's just not worth working in the UK anymore, just to have some knuckledragging dullard of a manager with no experience at anything speak down to you. Last time I went onsite I was managed by some south african kid, who was getting paid into a SA bank to avoid all tax. After 3 days I had to be pulled off him. I got no patience with the clowns anymore.
£2.30 per sq Metal (including setting out and extra details) and £1.30 per sq board in London on Athlete's village. What a utter joke thats illegal immigrant rates. Then you have a 17 page booklet to fill in before you are allowed on site for the 3 inductions you have to sit through. So the first day is utterly wiped out.
I've got myself on a local councils list of contractors and applied for a foreman job today. The next time I sweat on a building site, i'll probably be in Poland. I reckon there must be stacks of work out there.

I feel your PAIN My Friend!!!! Times have changed and not for the good. In Maryland our present Governor called illegal aliens Future Citizens, there something wrong with that!!!! Thats why they call us a sanctuary state!!!! Illegal aliens get in state tuition but a U.S. citizen from a neighboring state don't
