I got a used 09 Les Paul Studio Deluxe 60's Tribute about a month ago. Even though it's not a Fender I really like it. 1st Gibby I've had in years. I forgot how much easier it is to do bends with the shorter scaled length. Not saying I don't still love the Strat and Tele, it's just nice to play something a little different for a change. Besides, it really looks cool, vintage burst, zebra HB's w/cream surrounds, no pickguard, thin 60's neck profile (I'm not much of a baseball bat fan). It also has that nice thick HB tone. Enjoy everyone.
