Hi Gang,

I like the demos on this peddle... Who has one and what are your thoughts?

I had a few of the older big black ones, loved em, but destroyed em after about 3 years, each.
I have the vibratrem, little silver box. It's robust and doesn't let me down ever. So perhaps the silverbox bluesbreaker is more robust now.

What I would say about the old bluesbreaker is that it's no good as a standalone drive. It needs to be used to push a amp. Then again, I can't think of one overdrive ever that sounds good as a sole source of drive.

hi , i have a bb2 , i've had it for a while with no problems at all , i mainly just use the boost setting to add a wee bit of oomph for lead breaks , but the overdrive sounds decent enough (i have a jcm 800 so no worries about drive ) try one out and see what you think 8) cheers
Alan

I don't have the Bluesbreaker pedal but I do have the old English made metal case Guv'nor and that is like having a Plexi in a small box-just a deadly pedal-the new MIC ones aren't quite as good but they are about the best of the overdrive pedals out there and you can get pretty close to a Bluesbreaker tone from that with a bit of tweaking. If you could pick up an original Guv'nor or 1st issue Bluesbreaker you'd be much better off- I picked up my Guv'nor for just $60.
