I had an '81 Subaru "Brat" which looked like a sawed off Chevy El Camino but was 4WD and I used to go bounding over old woods roads and trails in it-flat out. That little thing could go anywhere and take you there faster than just about anything else.

If these are considered "classic" cars, then yes!

1966 Pontiac Parisienne - 4 door
1977 Oldsmobile Omega
1978 Camaro

I had a 77 Pontiac Ventura, which is basically the Omega with a different grille. It was one of the funner cars I owned.

The Omega was my first car. my dad gave it to me. He put big fat tires and Craigar SS mags on it. It looked tough and fast, but it only had a V6 in it. So many people wanted to race me but the car didn't have the engine to back it up!

I've had a lot of old cars being a certified car nut and having had been an auto mechanic for 25 years. Including 55 Olds 98 Holiday 2dr hardtop. (High school car, worked 371 olds eng with tri power), 64 Pontiac Gran Prix (421 tri power, 4spd), 71 Duster 340, 4spd, and a host of others. The last three were a 46 Ford convertable (worked flathead under the hood), a 51 Chevy 2dr sdn that I street rodded (472 worked Caddy, Turbo 400, mustang front clip, 9 in ford rear etc). Current project is a 50 Buick Special Sedanette (torpedo back) that I'm restoring as a stocker. I kind of like the old straight 8 and Dynaflow trans. It was a good find, straight rust free body and most all of the parts are there. I've found most of the other stuff I need in Hemmings Motor News. So on with the new project. I hope to have it all done by spring of next year.Good luck to everyone else on finding and/or enjoying old cars and bikes and the old car hobby.
