then by all means please link me to some of their better songs. maybe it is just a difference in tastes/style of music, but I didnt hear anything notable of saying we should look out for them in 2011 when I listened on youtube.

If you like Chicago style jump blues but with a fatter sound
then watch for The Jackpots out of Argentina.

Hi Torresfan if you like Broken Bells you'll also like Rogue Wave and Mid Lake they are just about interchangeable in their styles.

nah, i am going to have to pass. i listened to most of 3 songs on youtube and was not impressed. i can;t see those guys being the band to watch out for in 2011 unless you are talking strictly with the highschool/college crowd. They just aren;t that impressive overall, but to those who like it, I say enjoy!

A Day To Remember
Four Year Strong
Thera (haha, actually, they're local, but they're moving to Seattle, so... much mojo to them!)
Jonny Craig
Owl City (ok- stop thinking Fireflies. Owl City has many other, and better IMO, songs than that one)

Yeahhhh. I'm excited for this next year in music. :D

Oh! And Mumford and Sons. Excellent modern folk. The Aggrolites as well (reggae).

:)

I say Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly even though both of them have a very specific fanbase.

Agree with you Bob. BCC is definitely a band to watch for in 2011, they are recording their second album already, Unfortunately, with the nature of today's music, I can't see them ever making it big for one because they won't go full on pop in order to get exposure and secondly because they are hip hop, teenbopper or frat boy music and thats what seems to sell these days.

I can't really say there are any new bands to look out for to be honest. All the stuff that's come out by 'new' bands in the last few years is utter crap. The only stuff really worth listening to, is by established artists.
I guess the 'newest' bands/artists I have been listening to are Stone Sour and John 5. Because there has been so much rubbish been put out, I have been mainly checking out older music like Eric Clapton, The Beatles, The Faces etc unless someone I like puts out a new album, so far 2011 is looking quite bleak with only two bands/artists putting out stuff I like so far.....
