Damco,

Welcome from Wisconsin USA also. It is great to have an addition to our global group. It offers a great perspective and demonstrates the power of the Fender product. Lots of good information to be had here also.
Someday I'll figure out how to post some pictures so I will finally have some gear too. :D

Hi again damco,

I thought that I was being funny, it was a joke from my Spanish class (years ago). A llama (quechua) is an animal similar to an Alpaca, and "me llamo" is Spanish for "I call myself", as in "me llamo shimmilou". One person in our Spanish class had trouble pronouncing and remembering his Spanish, so he came up with "My llama's name is Doug", instead of "Me llamo Doug". It was funny at the time, maybe you had to be there? But welcome to the forum anyway, despite my poor attempt at humor. :)

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.

Don't worry, shimmilou.

I'm ashamed to recognize that I thought Llama was some kind of social network, like facebook or twitter...

I'm not so much into these sort of sites...
