The best thing I love about Fender is how versatile they are, how good the parts are interchangeable and stuff like that.

There's just nothing you can't do with a Fender.

They can take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. Plus a bolt on neck never needs a neck reset, and they rarely have a broken headstock or headstock repair.

I love other guitars, but this is the only guitar company that I like. Fender has a great place in history yet they are still offer great guitars at reasonable prices( unlike the competition). Plus this is the only company that gives us an opportunity to talk to others who share our interest. Some people will complain that there is a lot of marketing going on at this website, but it keeps Fender's finger on our collective pulse so they can better serve us.

Sound, craftmanship, very easy on the eye, pure quality- what else is required?

#1 Above everything else they are tough! I don't worry when the kids start banging on them.

I love Fender because of is purity and accuracy. Plus the fact that they hooked me up with some kick $@! drinking glasses a few months back for entering something they had on the forum.

There are so many things I love about Fender I don't know where to start!
One things is the Custom Shop's abillity and willingsness to make just about any guitar you can imagine.Another thing is how a Fender is more than just a product.Owning a Fender you feel like part of a great musical heritage.

Fender just has that thing that makes me wanna keep playing, ya know? I like other types of guitars and amps, but I really like the way that Fenders work and sound.

As far as Strats go...

1. Tone
2. Visual awesomeness
3. Comfort.

As far as amps go...

1. Tone
2 Visual awesomeness
3. versatility

A Stratocaster proves what the Bauhaus gang said about design (and so often failed to prove wtih their own work:

That an object that is perfectly utilitarian and reveals its utility in its design will be inherently beautiful.

A Strat is almost perfectly ergonomic, perfectly versatile, and despite its space-age lines, almost perfectly lean: stripped down to nothing but the essentials of its function. As a by-product of that aesthetic, it is almost perfectly beautiful.

In 40 years of playing professionally, I have owned everything: LPs, SGs, Teles, oddball guitars like Teiscos, an Ovation Deacon, a Dan Armstrong plexi, an ES 330, a 335. In my experience, nothing rivals a Stratocaster in its accidental achievement of near perfect design.

I love Fender for giving us one of the world's most important industrial objects. Like the Eames lounge chair and the Zippo lighter, a Stratocaster was and is a self-contained revolution.

I love the fact that Fender is always looking for ways to improve their gear and design new products.

Many will say, if it ain't broken...yada, yada, yada, but the point is that striving for continuing change can be a good thing.

Yes, it was cool to go into a shop and buy a Strat and a Twin back in the late 60's or early 70's, but now there are so many different choices on the various models.

Keep up the good work, Fender !
