Ha, ha! I'm not so young, but you're right about a lot of these dudes. They are young, but it's great to see that these younger dudes are serious about playing guitar rather than joining gangs and stuff like that. Music, at least to me, is the best gift that "the big guy in the sky" gave us so let's roll with it brothers!!! KEEP SHREDDIN'!!!!!!!!!

For it is written Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!.

There for, thou shalt rock on. And if the Lord answers my prayers in my favor, I too will be able to play well and not just noise!

Amen!

Music is indeed the best gift, you're correct about that, started 6 string at 40 years old, 43 now, and it's my therapy, if I don't get some time in every day I am not a happy man.

Great to see them on here for some diversity!!

I have posted this here on the Fender Lounge just to learn how, so far all I can do is give you a link to my photobucket doo-dad

http://s335.photobucket.com/albums/m467 ... hsmall.jpg

Thats about a year old pic.

I have some on stage pics on a disc here somewhere and other guitar related stuff too.

was 150 lbs when I graduated high school in 1984 and at one time had curly hair down to my butt, hey things change and so did I.

I graduated in '83, why is it we get less hair and more pounds? :?

Oh yeah, middle age.

I remember in high school having my old Buick Lesabre jammed to the top with my drum kit in all the cases, etc. Now I'm old and carrying a guitar and amp is about as much work as I'd like to do. :)

Hey brother! I just turned 36 on the 5th so we're pretty damn close in age bro. The way that I see it is that once you're over 30...it's all the same  . Yeah I put on a couple pounds myself, but I call it my Coor's Light keg and I used to have a lot more hair too  . The pic I put up was taken just 3 months ago.

Anyway to get your pic to actually show up on this thread, all you have to do is this: 1. Go to your photobucket account and pull up the pic that you're after.

2. Right click the same link that you posted here and then it should say "copied".

3. Come back here and do another "post a reply".

4. Click the "Img" button once, then right click again and choose "paste" next to the [Img] and your link should be there now.

5. Then finally, click the "Img" button again and run the cursor to the right until it's outside of the [/Img] box.

That's it bro...just like that man.

Oh yeah in response to WI KISSfan: That's awesome that you're finally playing brother! I'll help you out in any way that I can if you want. I started playing Piano at 3 years old, then Alto Sax and Trumpet at 9 years old, and then Guitar and Bass at 13 years old. So in essence, music is what I am I guess, but it's the BEST thing in the world huh!? ROCK ON BROTHERS!!! ROCK ON...

I have the same box bottom. I have a multi-drawer unit stacked on top of it though. I'd love a work surface like you have though.

If I retire maybe i should cut it into a strat LOL!!
