I'm still kinda struggling to find a pick I really really like. I know that might sound kinda silly but every different one I try I just don't seem to get on with. But there are hundreds of types of picks so I'm hoping to find one I like sooner rather than later!

I tried .73mm Martin's, then a bunch of the Fender tortoise colored ones and I've settled in with Fender Heavy. Nothing else feels quite so right. That may change some time if I feel the need to look for something different. My pick is the least of my worries when I attempt to play.

Yeah I got a brass plectrum, a very different sound to plastic or fingers. I used to use it exclusively but at £2 a pop, it got expensive when I lost em. Then the source ran dry so I just kept the two I had left and use em occasionaly.

Dunlop purple Tortex - 1.14mm.

I've used them for about 16 years and love their relative stiffness, grip and mid-range boost.

I just like the regular-shaped ones.

I like the Pick Boy .070's. (medium) They have raised dots covering about 80% of the pick, both sides and are easy to hang on to. (mostly). Unfortunately they are black and seem to keep disappearing. Fortunately I got lots!

I haven't tried these myself, but I hear they are "the best in the world". They should be for $35 a piece. They are called Blue Chips.

Med or Heavy "Cool" picks. The ones with the sand papery grip.
