You pretty well nailed the Neil Young grunge tone,I bet it would've sounded even more Neil like with a Gretsch Duo Sonic or White Falcon. These old Fuzz Faces were just great and so adaptable-make no wonder Jimi loved them.

Sounds good--I like everything you've posted, and you usually have a cool bend to whatever you're playing.

I really like fuzz (much more than distortion)...it's just more organic.

My fuzz tones currently come from a Dunlop JH2S Jimi Hendrix Classic Fuzz. Sounds great (very articulate, not muddy at all), but they were discontinued years ago...

By the way, Nevin...do you own any other pants besides sweats?

While reading this post, it's dawned on me that I've never played through a fuzz pedal. I did use the so called "fuzz" on a Digitech Rp once, and it completely turned me off to the whole idea. Upon hearing your clip though, I think I might have to check into picking up a nize fuzz, cause you got some pretty nice tone out of that thing.

I understand. I play better wearing my ostrich-skin boots.

Its alright. The single coils make it a little bright, but I like that. The song is actually played in DADGBD tuning, but I played it in EADGBE. Makes a difference.

I hear you bro but I like NY stuff anyway and you did it justice my friend.

For an amp a Tweed Deluxe clone, a Whizzer and a Mutron Octave Divider. I had the Octave Divider and sold it for over $600 on the bay. The Whizzer is custom made. His reverb is mounted under the floor LOL.

If said burrito was placed in the middle of Saskatoon in January would the town warm up or the burrito cool down?

Can you even get burrito's in Saskatoon?

Le Noise is indeed Le Noise, I'll have to listen a few more times before passing final judgement.

Sweet sounds Nevin been getting most effects from a line6 looper until I got myself a Hardwire Digitech reverb and the difference in pedals is night and day was thinking of a distortion next, I think now I'm leaning towards a good fuzz, cheers

Yeah, I have grown tired of all the tones DigiTech is able to produce. They make great practice tools, but the sound is terrible pretty much across the board.
