ok, folks, talked to tech support today,, not a real friendly person! They made it clear to me the new passport pro 500 is not set with a output for a monitor and only has a subwoofer output! They told me to daisy chain the monitor into the subwoofer output and then hook the subwoofer into the monitor! ,, or to just use trial and error to figure it out!!, great advice huh!! I found i put my monitor into the stereo out 1/8th " output using adaptors to the 1/4" plug and got a better sound and can adjust the volumn too, and did run the woofer from the monitor,, the entire system sounds 100% better with highs and lows much better than before as it was! Hope this helps ! It really sounds likea large stage system now and plenty of bottom, I found a killer 1200 watt subwoffer for 167.00 and free delivery,, sounds great,, actually unbelievable!!!! walk well and safe, good luck! Cody

,, he seemed to care less if he answered the question or not,, maybe having a bad day! kinda like, this is how it is,, good luck attitude! You would probaly think as many years as i have been a fender man and pushed the fender product a bit more courtesy for a good question would have been offered! I was polite and just wrote it off as another employee not real happy! The fender owners manual is brief and not any clear answers on this part, if a fender monitor is important to others as it is to me, even though it has not recieved good reviews, seems it should be part of the new passport manual along with a subwoofer which is very lite and brief too! Even the manual that came with the fender 1270P monitor was real lite on how to hook up to a system!!!! Seems Fender forgot allot to make room for the new on the new passport500!! Like many , the speaker wires are a joke! No rca jacks anymore and with a fender cordless mic using one whole channel and the usb using another whole channel ,, well gets tight quick for other instruments and mics! ok, rattled enough! just a old indian who has made allot of music along time, trying to keep up with technology and keep cost down! thanks,, maybe this will help somebody who has same problem! it really does kick this system into overdrive with the subwoofer and monitor,, not even close to the prior sound without the additions! Maybe fender should design a package like this! peace and prayers, cody

it would be cool to see a pic of your PA setup now that you have everything to your likings, and tell us a bit about the system. ive not seen a post on here about a PA system as of yet. could make for a interesting post for sure.
