Kinda new here but not to guitar. I was thinking most people are tuned standard e. I mostly play d and drop c both with 10g ernie balls and a old sg to b with 13s. i mostly play a heavy blues hybrid thing. Now what do you play?
tuneing?
strings?
style?

I'm usually in standard, but I have gone down to D before for DADGAD and some open tunings.

i like open D on my acustic and resonator guitars for a good blues sound (Rory Gallagher style) and E for everything else on electric.

Drop Standard most of the time, my 12 string is a full step down, but often capoed to standard. I think one of my acoustics is in DADGAD. Every now and then my tele is in drop D for some Biffy Clyro fun.

Standard tuning - A440
Other options require a setup be performed on the guitar depending on how far from standard you deviate.

Before I started playing in a band with keyboards I used to tune to E flat but now I almost always tune to standard pitch.
