Great looking strat. The C.A.R. is sweet, it really does remind me of candy. Nice shine to those things. Congrats and enjoy.

I catch GAS about 99% of the time when someone posts a pic of their new guitar. That one percent is the 1% of picture posts that slip past without my notice...

Just wanted to give big Al a heads up here 8) with regard to the MIM Tele I picked up last week. This particular guitar was a real mess when I bought her, I just felt she needed some TLC to come alive again. I gave her the full Meguirs treatment, chrome et al! She then started to look the part, the pups were dead as far I was concerned. Alan turned me on to the Iron Works website, and demo'ed the IW pups he put in one of his strats. They sound fantastic, I checked out the site and checked out the tele pups. I ordered a new bridge, and neck pup. Any of you who know me, know my knowledge of these things could be written on the back of a postage stamp. I got them in the mail today, and called Alan. He invited me round to his gaff, and did everything! The guy gave up his valueable time, just to operate on my guitar. The operation was a huge sucess, this guitar has been brought back from the dead. I kid you not guys, the tele sounds, and looks fantastic! So.... thanks again Alan, you're a golden gezzer mate.
