I voted on the MXR. Although I haven't owned the Clone I did have the Nano version EH Clone and it was a nightmare. 20-30% volume drop, couldn't be daisy chained, very robotic sounding. Hated it. I played the MXR once and from what I remember its lush.

yours sounds defective.... also, IIRC the nanos were digital....

i vote small clone, i own one and its great

Unfortuantely not. These problems were common in the Nano versions. I have a Nano Small Stone Phaser and its wonderful.

Of course I can't speak for the regular Clone Chorus.

I've found the demos on YouTube to be useful, though, some are better than others. Sometimes you can find a head to head comparo. I own Boss and DeltaLab choruses. The DeltaLab was stereo and cheap. Hasn't failed me yet, but I'm not gigging with it, either.
