Just finished "Walden" by Henry David Thoreau. It's like life was already going too fast in 1845. A very inspiring book.

No novels right now. I've been reading a bunch of non-fiction lately, mostly history. I'm currently reading A French Kiss with Death, by Michael Keyser. It's about Le Mans, Steve McQueen, and the making of the movie itself. I also got this yesterday at a Borders that is closing; been buying up lots of bargains, some for $1.20. This one was more expensive, but then again it's 1112 pages and it has a great cover!

Right now I'm reading "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test" by Tom Wolfe again, and after that "And the Hippos Were Boiled In Their Tanks" by William S. Burroughs and Jack Kerouac.
Then I need to finish "Demon Box" by Ken Kesey.
I'm really not much of a reader though.

I was given a couple of novels for Christmas-The Odessa File by Frederick Forsyth and The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown-author of The Da Vinci Code.Has anyone read either of these books?I usually read real life stories or writers like Kurt Vonnegut or Hunter S. Thompson and don't go much for novels.I'm currently reading Life by Keith Richards.

I read The Odessa File years ago; I liked it a lot; The Lost Symbol, not so much. Try Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, much better. I have the Keith Richards book but haven't started it yet.

Beaubs,
Steve McQueen was the Man! very interesting book because it's part bio, part filming, part photo book and for me, it's perfect becuase endurance racing has been a life-long love of mine, especially those incredible Porsche 917s.
