Post subject: When comparing guitars on Fenders site.....

Are the specs meant to change when your comparing guitars on Fenders site?
Reason being I was using this tool to compare a couple of guitars and the Jim Root Strat went from a mahogany body to an alder body, even though it is made of mahogany. Weird!!
