i got talkin 2 some guy in a shop the other day, who claimed that he had been playing semi pro 4 almost 20 years and had a collection of over 40 guitars, just wondering if any1 can top that

Zero. But I know several people who can top him by about 25 guitars.

I currently have 8 1/2 Fenders-the 1/2 comes from the body and neck from an original '65 Strat that I made the mistake of letting someone "refinish" in 1975.I since put the hardware and workings in a Walnut body and neck made by Doulbe Eagle Guitars and will be getting the '65 up and running again some day.

My other Fenders are: 1.'65 Mustang 2. '65 Jaguar 3.'00 L/H MIM Strat strung R/H 4.'06MIM Tele 5.'06 Stratacoustic 6.'04 50th Ann. Strat 7. '10 Jimmie Vaughn
I also have a '69 Bassman head with a 2-15 '68 cab,a Blonde Limited Edition Blues Jr. and a '67 Leslie Model 16.
Other guitarsI have under the Fender banner are a '66 Gretsch Tennessean and a '74 Guild S-100.In total I have 26 guitars and 10 amps.But one of my buddies has about 80 guitars and 25 amps.Some guys in the forum have way more than that.

Wow, 20 Fenders. I might need to enter a 12 step program on Fender addiction. I'll do it if I can find a seat that's 12 steps from the door.

forgot to mention i have a strat, blacktop tele, (ibanez) bass and a crappie old acoustic called a rocker.(optomistic name!!!) im savin for a jazz bass or a gretsch pro jet
