i did have to cut 2 slots in the tubing so it stays in the slot when you remove the skrew... or else its impossible to put the screw in or out...

file away some of the rubber to make a slot in each side of the tubing so it stays in the chassis of the pedal... or else it will just fall inside the battery cavity after a while...
