the pacer was a sweet guitar back in the day. just about everybody liked them.
if body was ok and neck in good shape, she stole it for that little bit of money.
take off the tape and redo the body nicely. these guitars bring in some nice change these days bro. people are looking for them. trust me, im one of them.
redo the body and spend what you have to to get it done right.
its worth every penny.

Cool looking guitar, very unusual! I have an '83 Pacer that originally had one bridge humbucker. I routed out to add a neck humbucker, and used push-pull pots for coil-splitting both pickups, neck with the vol pot, and the bridge with the tone pot. Both are Bill Lawrence pickups and they sound awesome. I added a small pickup selector switch too. I also settled on a marble look for the paint job, after about a dozen tries with just black. I couldn't get great results using black, it shows every little flaw in the finish.
