ok...as a first timer with musicians friend, an i know it has all these great promises, but i need to know from peoples experiences with them;

are they trustworthy?

what if you recieve your item and its broken/gotta fault? do they pay the price to get it shipped back to them?

does it come on time?

my parents have there doubts with buying online, even if its with my money, so i need to know the answers to these questions

Musician's Friend is generally considered a reputable online retailer. It is the online business of the Guitar Center stores.

I personally have had mixed results with Musician's Friend. On one hand, I bought my Roland Micro Cube amp through them, and I have been very happy with it. On the other hand, I bought a set of Vintage Noiseless Strat pickups that had clearly been returned to them from another customer: the pots in the kit had blobs of solder on them, and the bridge pickup didn't work. :?

So your mileage may vary. Caveat emptor! 8)

Edited for grammar.

Wouldn't worry about buying from such a big business. It's more agro than it's worth to rob you. Particularly with you being a international customer.

I've made several online purchases from them and had nothing but good luck. Latest one being a Blacktop Tele.

I buy a lot from them. 2 Fender guitars, strings drum stuff. Never a problem. When I got my Am Dlx HSS after the unexpected 6 month wait they emailed me weekly and I talked to CS monthly. They stayed helpful

+1 on Sweetwater...great service and prices. You get the same salesperson each time. Ask for Austin; tell him Serge sent you.

Riley,
I have used both Sweetwater and American Musical Supply with fantastic results. Musicians Friend I have used for only small stuff and they have been pretty good. Sweetwater is great because of the customer service and the followup! Hope this helps!

I have used Zzounds (also Aamerican Music Supply), Guitar Center, Musicians Friend, and Sweetwater. Nothing beats the service you can get from Sweetwater but all of the other stores are very good.

I have bought lots of things from Musicians Friend over the years, and so have members of my family, and we have had nothing but good luck with them.

Musicians Friend is good, I like Sweetwater a bit more. Their follow up and customer service is excellent.

So far all my experiences with Musicians Friend have been positive. The one time that a guitar had an issue, they sent a new one immediately.
