Are these Edwards guitars currently in production, or something older? Also, if new, where to find?

They have been around for a few years now. They are a higher end guitar made by the ESP company, based out of Japan, assembled in China and finished in Japan. You can get them from ebay, their better LP's have the open book headstock(if that makes a difference to you).

EDIT: Check this out.... :P

If your Tokai is MIJ, the I'd say that they are pretty close in quality. I haven't played a Tokai Jr or Special so....

What you have posted looks pretty good. It would certainly get my attention if I saw it in person. My trouble is that I NEED to see and feel the guitar I am going to buy, so if I can't try it first.... I am hesitant.

Understandable. That's the worst thing about buying online. I have bought 4 online and have had no issues with them yet, but I know some guys who have run into issues every so often...these guys are constantly buying and selling though.

Check out the semi-hollow PRS SE with P90s. It's a good one!

Also, I've heard good things about the newish Gibson Les Paul Studio 50's Tribute with P90s.

:) Hope it helps.

Great guitar. Currently only available in natural, but in the past, in black, white, cherry, orange, turquoise. Once in a while you'll find a used one on ebay.
