2010 Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Pro

It is amazing ... While it may be the po' boy "entry level" Les Paul Standard, it just happens to be configured perfectly for me:
- 60s slim neck
- Excellent Gibson pickups (Burstbucker 3 / 57 Classic)
- Coiltaps on each pickup
- Gold top-hat knobs (there are some LP knobs that I really dislike)
- weight relieved a bit so not a back breaker as I primarily stand when I play
- uncovered humbuckers (I really prefer this look)
- in general, a really good looking guitar

Looks great! I have zebras on my open-coil LP Classic, yours looks like a cherry sunburst cousin of mine (honeyburst).

Congrats!

Nice! I really like the unfussy topwood too. Do they do that model in Wine Red?

Anyhow. It certainly is your last guitar. And the next one will definitely be your next. 8)

Sweet guitar GT,the Trad. Pros are probably the most versatile guitars on the market thanks to the coil tap.I love the burst on it.My wife gave me an Epi Trad. Pro for Christmas and the neck pup sounds just like a PAF ,it's a pity that the Epis only come in Ebony and Deep Burgundy though,I'd love to have a burst.BTW there's no such thing as a last guitar unless it's the one you buy before you take the long nap under the dirt blanket lol.

Gorgeous Les you have there. Some nice grain in that top. Very classy, congrats and enjoy! Although I agree it's easy to say "this is the last", we'll see...

GT, congrats on the LP; the Traditional Pros, the Classics, the Standard Fadeds (not made anymore) are all great LPs and as you said, very versatile. My son has a Classic, I have a Std Faded(the one on the right below), both with uncovered buckers. My first guitar was an Epi LP which I had upgraded with a 57 Classic at the neck and a 57 Classic Plus at the bridge; that was a great combo also.
Enjoy the new guitar.
