oldest objects I have are a pair of mid-14th century spurs. My favorite sport is jousting, so I have ended up with a few odds and ends from the 1300s', my favorite historical era. I have a fistfull of Roman and Greek coins, but I'm not sure I would count them... Oldest musical thing I own would be my great great grandfathers' bagpipes.

I have old war stuff. My wife's family has a rich history of military service all the way back to the civil war. I have old military sabers and journals. We donated a painting to the historical society valued at 5000.00. Unfortunately I won't be adding anything to the collection.

My Dad's hobby was restoring old radios -- the type he couldn't afford to own while growing up as a poor lad in NYC during the "Great Depression". When he passed in '04 I inherited this beauty......

This is a Philco Model 20 "Deluxe Cathedral" from 1931. Note the triple-ganged tuning "condensor" and the field-coil speaker. The tubes are Type 71 power triodes for the detector, IF, and audio stages with a Type 80 mercury-filled full-wave rectifier......all very primitive by today's standards (and extremely scarce). The set is fully operable and actually sounds pretty good with a decent antenna affixed.

A Louis XIV clock from around 1660-80. I've a monks bench from around the 1800's too.
Not grandiose, just understated ornate things. Pretty wallflowers as it were.
I'll post a picture of em when I can get to em.

I have a pair of custom made, monogrammed cuff links given to my uncle upon his graduation from grammar school back in 1923. Granted, they are not quite the Holy Grail nor "Antiques Roadshow" material, yet they mean an awful lot to me especially since I was named after him and he was truly, a great guy.

The oldest thing I own is my 1976 Aria Studio pro LP-650. My mom bought the guitar brand new from Webb's music in Antioch CA in late '76. She played the guitar off and on, but it spent much of it's life sitting in the closet in a case. In the mid 90's the guitar was given to my older brother, who never really got serious about playing, and on my 16th birthday he gave the guitar to me. I know it's not as old as most of the items mentioned here, but it is definitely one of my prized possesions.

Edit: My mom said she had the choice between a Les Paul and the Aria, which she chose due to the fact that it had much better action and a thinner neck than the Gibson.
