Post subject: Problem with a 5-way switch

I have built a Tele that I've put in a tex-mex strat mid and neck strat pickup. All pickups work fine alone and the bridge and mid work fine but in position 4 mid and neck the volume drops drasticly. Is the switch the problem or maybe something else

Maybe you connected the middle and neck pickups out of phase.
Try switching the wires on one pickup.
Lead to earth and earth to lead.
