Yeah, I was young & dumb & at a point of perceived desperation. The $350 I got for it went really far (implied sarcasm).

And it would be worth soooo much more today.

Hey, man, you know those bumps you hit on the road of life just make the destination sweeter. You can't sweat the stuff you can't change. :D

Umm, I have to count.....

1 hollow body
7 solid bodies
4 steel string acoustics
1 nylon string classical
1 electric bass

So, 14. No, they're not all Fenders. Just a '97 Squier Strat and two Affinitys, a 2006 BSB Tele and a 2004 Red Metallic Strat.

I have a problem getting rid of them I guess.. I've never had the heart to sell any haha. The favorites are my american strat and a very special Heritage H-140.

Eighteen, including the crappy ones I don't play.
I sold a guitar, once. A nice natural finish ES-335 dot RI for $800 because I wanted the money to buy a bunch of crap I don't have anymore. What a stupid move. :x

Yeah, I've regretted it ever since. :(

Hey AjayTele... welcome to this unique and wild bunch of musicians.

So how is it you have aquired 108 guitars??? And do you actually play them all?

I just started buying the ones I never had when I was younger on eBay. Over time the collection has grown into something very significant of course!

Teles are my main focus - there is a great variety of types of Teles, so that's fertile ground for collecting. Of course I also have some Gibsons  and other brands like Godin, Burny, Yamaha to name a few.

Here's a photo of about half of the collection....

My truly collectable guitars are not on display....

No, I don't play them all now, although I play every one when it arrives to see if it's a "good one" or not. I have about a dozen guitars that are "players" and they get played regularly.

ya, thats pretty incredible, and thats probably not even 2/3 of em... i haven't counted, but it looks like an amazing collection... if i ever come upon a lot of money later on in life, and i can provide for my family, i hope to get a large collection going, maybe not 108, but 20 or so
you can give me one of those if you'd like

Sorry I can't spare one.... :(

Two reasons really.

1. I love them all and which one would I send?
2. I am probably a little too far away, being in Australia

Check out eBay. There are loads of cheap guitars on there....

Oh, and the collection is now 109 - I just bought a nice CIJ 69 RI Rosewood Tele (yeah, the George Harrison replica). It is really NICE
