Here's the electric guitars (20) and bass guitars (5), I believe that's 25:

Here's most of the acoustics (another 2, one 6-string and one 12-er):
The mandolin is my dad's and has been returned to him, however, I now have 2 acoustic-electric mando's (a Washburn Oscar Schmidt and a Fender).
Oh, and one super-cheapie acoustic-electric:
So, 20 electric guitars + 5 electric bass guitars + 2 acoustics + 1 acoustic-electric = 28.

I think.

:D

Brian that was amazing, if they were all on stands against a wall with you standing in front, the caption: Yngwie Krashpad :D

97 Fender Strat Plus | 81 Aria Pro II CS-350 | 70s Gherson Les Paul | 2009 Hofner Verythin | 02 Takamine EG540SC Acoustic | 03 Johnson Travel | 60s Minorca Classical | Indian Sitar | 70s Ovation Deacon | 76 Shergold Meteor Deluxe |

How many's that?

I guess 8 1/2 guitars plus 1 sitar.

Or less than 10% of M. LaFrance's collection!

Been a while since I "stopped by".
At this point the list is as follows:
1973-74 Jazz Bass (in need of a re-refinish. Previous owner tried to do his own sunburst.... not a good idea.)
1978 Fretless P-Bass
1978 Strat (in the process of being restored)
198? P-Bass Lyte
1986 HSS Strat (Japan)
1992 USA Jazz Bass
1994 Guild DC-1
1998 American Deluxe P-Bass
1998 American Standard Strat (Rewired HH - Duncan '59/Pearly Gates Plus)
1998 Big Apple Body with a Lefty (reverse) 2006 Highway 1 neck
1998 BG 29 (Acoustic Bass)
1998 DG-22S (Acoustic Guitar)
1999 Seymour Duncan Strat Hardtail (Big Apple with a hardtail)
199? Roscoe Beck V Bass
2000 American P-Bass Deluxe V
2001 American Hardtail Strat HH
2001 USA P-Bass Deluxe
2002 American Hardtail Strat HH
2004 American Chambered Ash Tele (52' reissue with a spruce top. Only 600 made)
2004 American Series Strat (Rewired HH - Duncan SH2n/SH4T)
2004 American Series Tele (Replaced neck pickup with Duncan Mini-Bucker)
2005 Highway 1 Fat Strat
2006 '60's Reverse Strat
2008 Spalted Maple Tele Custom

Latest projects are:

2010 USA Charvel San Dimas Style 2 body (think rear routed tele with two Duncan humbuckers (SH-1n/SH4T), one knob (volume) and a FloydRose) with a Fender Prodigy neck. Not too sure how this one is going to turn out.

199? Fernandes Japan Vintage style tele neck with a 2006? Fender Lite Ash tele body. Just loaded it with a set of SCN pickups so I had to abandon the '60's style bridge in favor of a Standard Tele bridge. (bridge pickup becomes micro-phonic at low levels with the vintage bridge-plate.)

Then there are two Tele(parts)casters I've been farting around with for the last couple of years. Both Alder Mexican Tele Standard bodies with CBS style strat necks. Both will potentially wind up with Mini-Buckers in the neck position. Just a matter of throwing them together and setting them up.

Also have two Jazz Basses in the works. One Alder 3TSB body loaded with Quarter Pound SJB-3s, one Natural Ash body loaded with Fender "’75 vintage-style Jazz Bass single-coil pickups". One American Standard P-Bass neck and one Moses Graphite Jazz Bass neck. Not sure which will be with which.

...and that's just the Fender/Fender-Style guitars....
