I've been diggin' the Neon Trees' 'Animal' and 'Habits' along with
the Jump Blues of Argentina's "The Jackpots".

I guess it must be my advancing age but I unilaterally say no.

I don't remember what year it was released (I think this year) but I love the Black Keys' "Brothers" album.

Lots of it;
Arctic Monkeys,
Bad Books,
Biffy Clyro,
Black Stone Cherry,
Bombay Bicycle Club,
Fleet Foxes,
Kasabian,
Kings of Leon,
Manchester Orchestra,
Marmaduke Duke,
Metric,
MGMT,
Paramore,
Pulled Apart By Horses,
The Strokes,
Tommy Reilly,
The Wombats,
The Zutons.

I've become much less prejudiced against new music within the last two years or so.

Tell you what: I never liked Kid Rock before, but his latest album "Born Free" has that Nashville sound I love so I keep playing it on Spotify. I tend to download albums from iTunes these days rather than buy CDs except when I actually want to own the CD. I fancy a trip to HMV tomorrow for that one...

I really like Michael Franti. I saw him open for John Mayer at a concert I saw in New Orleans and I have been hooked ever since.

Joe is currently working on a new one with a gal named Beth Hart...and I agree, anything new by Joe merits a listen (just got Blues Deluxe and Live From Nowhere In Particular for Christmas, and am really enjoying them both!).

Have you heard the new one from Buddy Guy, called "Living Proof"? Nice stuff, and tracks with B.B. and Carlos Santana sitting in...well worth a listen!

Yeah I have been searching for some samples of the tracks with beth Hart but no luck.
I do have the Living Proof album by Buddy. I buy everything he puts out, the guy IS THE BLUES

Brad Paisley's new album is due in April and will feature the latest single "This is country music". I am waiting for "Hits Alive" to be released in the UK. He played in London a few weeks back and I still haven't forgiven myself for not finding out about it.
