That honeyburst looks sweet! 8)

Thanks, thought they were sold out months ago, I think it was supposed to be a "blem"
the back control cover has a nasty scratch and it's got a small finish flaw between one set of knobs, but those p90s sound too raunchy to send her back. Did you have to mess with the set up at all? Mine was actually in tune out of the box.

A niece of mine bought me the book Fretboard Knowledge for the Contemporary Guitarist by Vivian Clement. It's a great book that I know I'll find very useful.

But the real treat came from my baby sister. She bought me the Electronic Rock Guitar Shirt from ThinkGeek.com -- it totally redefines the concept of wearing a loud shirt!

Nope, no setup required. Just had to tune it, a lot...

I officially got my Epi Les Paul Traditional Pro(pix will appear in the near future)4 sets of strings,a string cleaning kit,a Fender T-shirt with a Strat on it,a John Lennon biography photo journal,a Jimi Hendrix T-shirt,a Jimi Hendrix ball cap,John Lennon signature set. That's about all my music related stuff plus some novels.
Edit:I forgot 2 of my most important gifts and that's 2 of my nephew's latest solo releases where he plays all the instruments without his band Kujo except on a couple of tracks where there may be a guest guitar player or percussionist.

I got the same Epi! Lovin it. Still not used to seeing opencoils on a Les Paul but it is easier to yank on the push-pull pot to split them than it is to set it down and pick up a Fender. Not that the Fenders are being neglected - also got a Roadhouse Strat and a Blackheart tube amp so been having alot of fun with tones!

wasn't expecting any music related gifts this year but I somehow lucked out. Santa must not have checked his naughty list carefully because I'm waiting for a pair 15" eminence speakers for my Peavy cabinet, notice of which he left for me under the tree. :D

Who says you can't fool Santa? I had to buy my own but my son did give me some picks. Santa definately doesn't work at guitar center. Usually hate the place but since they had a sale going on... Anyway, ended up getting a new Epi and a used Roadhouse for myself, a p bass for my son, a hs case for the Epi, strings, picks, 3 straps, a harmonica, and a couple Fender t shirts. What did the manager agree to throw in for free? 2 guitar stands that were on sale 2 for $10 the day before. When I bought my used Ovation at a Mom & Pop store for less than $150 they threw in a deluxe gig bag for free to sweeten the deal. GC seems to expect you to just throw a new $500 guitar in the trunk.
