Just a quick hi to all on the forum, slight lack of christmas spirit last night, out with some lads from work and my jacket got nicked, unfortunately it had my house/garage keys in the pocket

Managed to get a cab and the driver says in some foreign tongue "boxing day tommorow eh" bless him,

Oh well............ do i change the house locks ??

If you don`t change your locks your jacket won`t be the only thing thats missing. You don`t want them coming back in the middle of the night either. Sorry to hear about the unpleasant experience. Times are bad and people are desperate.

Stay sat behing the door with a cricket bat in hand. Hear someone try the locks, beat em to a pulp with the willow, get your keys back and nick their wallet.

Mate it could well be a genuine accident, someone picked up the wrong coat. But call my a cynic, I cant see it. My keys and my wallet are always in my jeans, front pocket. Big lump of keys draped over the wallet, to prevent pickpockets. If I'm out on the lash, I don't take my wallet at all. Just cash. When I was living in Brum it was cash dispersed in different pockets. So if I got mugged I could pull out £20 and some shrapnel and hopefully convince the mugger that it was all I had on me. Luckily it never came to that, probably just my paranoia.

Change the locks mate. Even if there was nothing with your address on it in the coat, they could have followed you.

Merry Christmas in spite of being Scrouged. Yes, definitely change the locks.

Locks sorted, just to be sure.
Went for a walk this morning at a local nature reserve, all the lakes frozen over, stopped by the river Trent after a guy reported "icebergs" hehe, sure enough ice blocks on the way to the "Humber"
