My only guaranteed days off are thanksgiving and Christmas, besides that it fair game. We have a cold front blowing in today and the gulf of Mexico where I am has risen to 16 ft. sooo I am off for the next 2 days anyway, which is ok by me.

I unplugged my TV in 1981 when I started college. Haven't owned once since. Don't miss it a bit - especially when I'm over at someones house and see what's on the tube - I know I made the right decision...

I have a TV but we don't have cable. When I do go to someone's house that has cable, I realize what a waste of money it is...all the shows are about midgets, multiple births, muffins and spoiled rotten brides.

I have no special feelings for or against dwarves. But I like muffins a lot! :D

That is the hottest question on this Forum, right now.

Enquiring minds need to know...

Where I live, "to butter someone's muffin" used to be a well known euphemism for... well, we don't need to go further with that on this family-friendly forum. :D

Of course, if you're buttering it then this would be what you probably call an "English muffin". That's just a muffin on my side of the Atlantic. What you call a muffin we call... a fairy cake.

I expect you have mixed feelings about that, huh?
