Nevin do you have to work both Christmas and New Years?Just about all places here at least give you a choice or alternate from year to year,it's a real bummer if the cruel turdheads in management at your workplace make you work both.Maybe by this time next year you'll have a new knockout of a girlfriend and a job you love...here's hoping anyway.

Yes. I work shifts and I am finishing on a day shift today and then 3 days off. On new years I'll be working dayshift on the 31. 1. and 2. so no booze for this Nonni on new years

Hi Nevin: from what I've read on this Forum you usually pull the holiday shifts because you are young and single - is that right?

So the way I'm seeing it, any pretty young nurses around the hospital on Christmas day are quite possibly there for the same reason. In other words, a self-selecting cohort of available women looking for company... and dressed in nurses' uniforms!

Goddam, I'd have killed for an opportunity like that when I was your age! Go to, fella...
