How do you date an inspection tag for a guitar or bass. I have one that came with my P Bass I don't think it is of the same vintage. Can you tell by the names on it? Workers stamped their names on it in certain things they checked. When did Fender start using these? I think still they use them. I pickedup a chinese made p bass & it had a smaller less detailed inspection tag with it brand new. i just would like to know if mine dates to late 1960's but ther is no date on the tag anywhere.
