We'll do roast beef, stuffed potatoes, mushroom soup, green beans, and for desert- a choice of red velvet cake or chocolate moose. 8)

We have a large family on both sides and one family comes over for Thanksgiving and the other comes over on Christmas.

Usually both have the same menu with additions/subtractions to suit.

Turkey
Ham
Roasted Pork
Mashed or Roasted potatoes
Peas or corn
Cranberry Sauce
Cornbread or Herb Stuffing
Brussel sprouts

Two types of wine, Reisling and Pinot Noir or Merlot

I love to bake and so:

Apple Pie
Chocolate Pudding Pie
Spice Bundt Cake
Chocolate Cake
Homemade Italian Bread

And I usually take a quart-sized container and fill it up with Maraschino Cherries ( no juice) and pour a quart of Jack Daniels in it and let it sit. I do this in September.

No one goes home hungry.

As a Jewish guy from New York City, we traditionally go to a Chinese restaurant and then to the movies

 Many years ago I got fed up with the usual Stews, greasy meat pies, everything cooking in the same pot with sausages, meat balls, potatoes and overcooked turkey. So one day I decided to go for variety and now one year it can be Italian food and the next Thaï and so on. There is still the occasionally turkey and gravy but not too often.

I remember one Christmas, after a fall out with my family. I went to a Indian restraunt for dinner. A petulant child was I.

traditional dinners changed with the side of the family visiting for Christmas and which Aunts were helping in the kitchen, so, I have probably had many I don't remember. I do remember my favorite being lasagna. More importantly though, any Fender Forum people have the traditional Christmas goose or duck?
