This has been done before, but there's new pedals out there, so here it goes again:

If you could only have one pedal to take with you on a desert island, what would it be?

Since I'm on a desert island, I can just crank the amp for overdrive.
I don't have to be perfectly in tune with the bassist (since I'll be playing by myself), so I don't need a tuner.
My amp has reverb & vibrato/tremolo/whatever.

So my choice has to be my (late 70s early-block-logo/no led) MXR Phase 90.

What's your choice?

I would take a loop so I can jam with myself, but then again It might make me go a little insane when I realize that I don't have anyone to jam with.... :?

So this desert island has electricity?

How lucky is that, to get stranded on a desert island and to then find a working plug socket!

I'd probably take an acoustic because I doubt I'd be that lucky!

:)

Didn't you ever watch "Gilligans Island"? All you need is some bamboo, vines and a few coconuts to make a bike-pedal-powered generator.

Nice! Well since you are going to be leaving the island, leave the ladies with me and I'll take care of them!

My desert island pedal would be my Catalinbread WIIO. My amp already has amazing reverb and trem, so the WIIO will provide the perfect overdrive when I need it.

Good choice: those ladies tell me they like a bit of verb and overdrive now and again...

Even without feminine company of the level in that picture, I still think I would like to live on the desert island with the coconut electrical power plant...at least for a few months...just to take a break from the hustle & bustle.

...with feminine company of the level in that picture, I think I could wait a little longer for rescue!
