HA! It worked!

Thank you so much, Brad. Deeply appreciated.

And ladies and gentlemen, I just got yet another insight into how much work our leader does behind the scenes to make it all happen here for us.

A big round of applause to Brad, the IT SUPREMO! :D

Cheers - C

 Awww, gents, you humble me! :-D

I'd quite frankly love to be helping the folks at heathrow. Shoveling snow is one of my favourite sports, and when you spend time in Germany, well, you know how it's done. Which I think Britain, in general, doesn't. (Big Hairy Special Forces excluded!)

For those sociologically interested, it is unbelievable how many families don't dress their children properly, and then stand in front of my stall, kids whimping and sobbing of cold, asking me for a pair of socks.

Parents, Wellies are no winter footwear, same goes for shoes with a textile top. ts ts ts.

Anyway. gotta go.

The B.H.S.F. can shovel snow with the best of 'um. This year I even made a my own Big Hairy Snow Plough! I'm not usually very popular when we do get a bit of snow as I'm out there at 5:30am clearing the paths to the College I look after, so Staff and Students can get in.

And I totally agree. There's no such thing as bad weather, just poor clothing! :D

Stay frosty. 8)

Andy

Or turn up at your kiosk in short sleeved polo shirts hoping for a Scandiwegian looking, fleece lined sweater... :D

Cheers - C

I didn't see you sobbing, though, so it doesn't count! 8)

I was nearly sobbing on Sunday night for want of that sweater. We went along to be in the audience for filming of a Bill Bailey TV show at the LWT studios on the South Bank. They gave us numbered wrist bands for our place on the list: we were 125 and 126. Then they kept us standing outside for over an hour, eventually letting people in a few at a time as they worked out their seating plan. About five ahead of us in the queue they said that was unfortunately it, as an unexpectedly high number of Bill's "friends" had shown up and the studio seating was full. So we got turned away.

Wouldn't have mattered, but I'd dressed for a promised three hours in a boiling hot TV studio - not for an hour standing still outdoors in a -5C icy wind.

Never again: after all, I saw Bill just a couple of weeks earlier in a nice warm theatre without any fannying about. Huh.

Anyway. I was missing that sweater that night! :(

(There's a story behind this sweater, ladies and gentlemen: but it is too trivial to bother to tell...)

Cheers - C
