Brad, check out my caramel strat on the other Guitar Builder thread (yep, there are two, you may want to merge them).
I need one! And a matching tele!

Awesome, love it!!! And I did just merge the two topics as per your suggestion.

Glad you liked it, Brad.
To add to Guitar Builder:
Other guitars, eg, Tele, Jaguar, etc.
Tinted maple necks and headstocks

Thanks, this sort of thing is great feedback as we ponder what the next version of it might entail!

how do you share your guitars in here?

Just a note to all about having trouble posting their presets. I will be adding a feature soon to help share the image as well as wrapping the image with a link tag back to the preset like the facebook feature does.

What browser are you using?
The entire site is best viewed using these browsers in order
1.Safari
2.Chrome
3.Firefox
4.Internet Explorer 8
5.Internet Explorer 7

Ensuring you are using Firefox or above I will be able to answer your question quickly but if you are using an Internet Explorer browser I won't be able to answer that till Monday.

It'd be nice if you could make a white (olympic white) Strat becuase thats always been my favorite color. The closest I can get is silver.

Nice work Michael!
Thanks for the app...as I mentioned either here or on another thread having the other model Fender Guitars would be great as well as possibly an "Amp Builder".

Looking forward to future upgrades.

I must say, I do like the cut of Fender's jib.

Excellent employee's with excellent guitar designing abilities, and they'll tell you how to work your 'puter.

1. Preferably you would have the Guitar Builder in a tab of its own as well as the community in its own tab.
2. When viewing your presets right clicking on your preset will give you the options shown above.
3. Click the Copy image location
4. in your "post" click the "Img" option which should give
Code:
[img][/img]
with your text cursor blinking in the middle.
5. Paste(MAC command V)(PC control V) into the
Code:
[img][/img]
resulting in something like...
Code:
[img]http://images.fender.com/community/guitarbuilder/123_1234123413423412.jpg[/img]

Now post it and should be viewable by all.

So as I was in the guitar builder, I wanted to come up with the ultimate HaleAmano guitar. The name means "House Of Sharks". But I thought going with a shark concept for the actual guitar would be boring. So I came up with this. I call it "Seaweed". Sharks don't actually attack or eat the seaweed, they just shred their way right through it.

Great addition. Played with it yesterday. A few features that could be added:
- Traditional colors (fiesta red, sonic blue, olympic white, etc)
- Matching headstock color
- Guitar aging: Mint, worn, abused
- More guitars (most important is the Telecaster I believe)
- Overall more colors in the differents sections.

If you mess with the color tools, you can create all of these. That's kind of the fun of it for me.
