I purchased alot of cd's as this past year and honestly they all were below par, The good thing is being able to sell them with minimal loss on half.com if they are fairly new.

I'll give the Trower cd a listen this week..

jeez i really am gettin old cos i didnt buy a single bit of new music this year. however i have bought a heap of old vinyl from the 70s and 80s outta bargain bins and have really been enjoying that stuff. like steve stills 1 &2, doobie bros toulouse st, CSNY 4 way street that kinda thing. i'm sure there's still good music comin out but for one it's expensive and two i'm having too much fun listening to the old stuff

LCD Soundsytem - This Is Happening (electronic music)
For those of you who haven't heard LCD Soundsystem, I think this guy can make the most rudimentary bass line groove.
