STRAT i was looking through gumtree the other day and there was a guy wanting to swap his strat for a dot/sheraton/casino , i sent him a message offering him my dot and he readilly accepted the deal , so we arranged to meet yesterday so i had to work fast and put the dot back to stock (remove the iron gear pups, cts pots , switchcraft switch and output and the pio caps ) met up yesterday and i'm now the new owner of a 2008 mim candy apple red with rosewood fretboard fender strat it needs a little work on the setup which i'll work on over the next few days , i've set it up as my rory strat , tremelo hard to the body , and i'm pretty pleased with it so far , a good clean of the fretboard and a polish , a new set of elixers and she was good to cradle rock , i'll get the wife to take a few pics and i'll get them posted up . cheers

yep , deffo a good trade , the dot was sweet and had a tone to die for but it made some sense to me to trade it , i fancy an old epiphone by gibson sheraton sometime soon and i've got all the gubbins to drop right into it when i do get one . right now i'm really enjoying the new strat and i'm well impressed with the stock pups , very nice ,

The gentleman I made the trade with yesterday told me his philosophy in trading is that all parties end up happy. It was certainly the case for me and it sounds like your lovin' your new strat.
