Well....after lots of careful thought and research I'm gonna go ahead and pull the trigger on the Ct surgery. My doctor said the (EMG) Electromyography (nerve conduction test) is showing that things are just getting worst .I'm gonna do the right hand first since it's the worst and than possibly the left after January and I get some healing time on the right.I'm hoping that I can at least play some slide and blow the harp while recovering but we'll see how things go.
The state of California denied me disability benifits cause I am a self-employed Painting Contractor.I really hate this state.I paid taxes all my adult working life into the system and they said that cause I have not been working and paying out for several months during what they call the claim period that I am ineligible...what a crock :x .If any of you could say a little prayer and send some mojo my way I would be ever so grateful. It's bad enough that my kids are bummed out that their old man 43 years old can't do half the stuff I could 9 months ago due to my current situation. They are very understanding and just want me to get better so I can do the things I used to before this crap went down.I will keep you posted on the results in case their might be some one else dealing with bad hands and wondering about this type of surgery.
Happy holidays to all
Eric

MOJO, you got it, had a workmate who had the surgery a couple of years ago and never looked back, something wrong with the whole system these day's, you work all your life and just when you need a little payback some desk jockey decides your not eligable "CRAP just CRAP" though if you bust the banking system it's a million buck pay off..................is it just me :? I could have made an even bigger mess than the gamblers and desk jockeys in charge of the banks and walked away with a nice little pay off to last more than six lifetimes, where's the firing squad when you need them

Mojo sent to you scarleg, I went through this myself so I can tell you that in a few weeks you'll be glad you did it too. Good luck.

Thanks all,
I am really looking forward to my hands being useable again so I may go back to work and play guitar again like I once could

Prayers and much MOJO your way.I also had both hands done, just make sure you don't push to hard trying to recover, take your time and if you don't your hands will let you know you have gone to far too fast! 8)

My thoughts and prayers are with you my friend and I can empathize fully with you as I have issues with my hands and have been given the runaround with insurance companies and Workers Compensation also. They will take your money quite readily but you have to fight to get one cent of benefits from them.
