As our first order of business I will need you to take a moment to RESET YOUR PASSWORD. Please do so by clicking here. I'm expecting a few folks to have difficulty with this process (particularly if the e-mail address that you currently have on file with us is incorrect) and that's OK ... if you're unable to regain access simply shoot me an e-mail at ForumAdmin@fender.com and I'll get you squared away as soon as possible.

Once you have reset your password, you'll be able to start enjoying a number of new features here including private messaging, personal avatars, and several other new features that the new forum software offers.

Also please do make sure you take a moment to check out the new Fender.com Guitar Builder -- it's a fun new interactive feature we just added here in the Community section.

If you encounter any problems or errors, that's OK -- it's a very complex rollout for us and while we've tried to make it as seamless as possible for everyone I'm sure there will be a few special cases. Please dont' panic and please go ahead and send any problems directly my way and we'll get them sorted out over the next bit of time.

yes that feature does not seem to be working at the current time, it doesn't really bother me but there probably just adding some changes to it

edit; what happens if you dont reset your password? i've already done it, but just curious?

Some of quick things I've noticed in the few minutes I've looked around
1) It keeps asking me to sign on again every time I go somewhere else
2) The links from the Store don't work
3) The Fender Builder needs Teles!
4) The Product pages don't have the Custom Shop guitars

When I click the Guitar Builder, if I have another page open, it will take me there, e.g I have my Yahoo mail open. I clicked Guitar Builder at the top of this page; it took me to my Yahoo page.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I *believe* the issue with getting signed out repeatedly has now been resolved -- many thanks to those who reported it. The Store links were fixed shortly after launch as well.
